About Latitude
Created in 2001 from a Bain McKinsey spin off, Latitude has a small experienced team focused on market investigation and strategic problem solving.
Founding partner Steve Hacking has active involvement in all Latitude projects and takes responsibility for quality and client satisfaction. Our approach is investigative and externally-facing. Support for clients typically includes any or all of the following:
- Market analysis - quantification of market opportunities, analysis of pressures and trends, segmentation, projections and scenario analysis
- Competitive analysis - analysis of competitive environment, direct assessment of key competitors
- Customer insights - insights into buying process, purchase and selection criteria, performance of client and key competitors, design and testing of effective propositions
- Business case development - development and testing of the full business case for different strategic options, including financial modelling and presentation support to board or financiers
We use investigative research and analysis, which includes examination of secondary research, in-depth interviews with experts, customers and competitors, and business case development and testing. Our approach is particularly valuable where the sector is poorly researched or is changing unpredictably and rapidly.
Our clients range from large international players to UK SMEs. We are very proud of the quality of our work and the strength of our ongoing client relationships.
