VTR Post Production

VTR plc owned a portfolio of post-production companies serving the advertising, TV and film production industries. Following two years of falling profits and a significant restructure, the group wished to review the three core businesses and three new opportunities and decide where to focus investment for growth.

Six-week project involved:

  • detailed picture of market size and growth to give context to business unit performance in each market
  • in-depth understanding of customer buying behaviour, needs, perception of and loyalty to each of the VTR businesses
  • recommendations for growth and improved profitability in each of the core businesses

As a result of the Latitude work, VTR has made some significant changes to the business, attracted investment from Prime Focus and has re-emerged as a player in the UK and Global post-production sector.
